TASTING NOTES

Bridging the vineyards of Northern and Southern Oregon, this wine demonstrates the deep color and rich dark fruit that is Syrah. A small amount (5%) of the white grape Viognier is co-fermented in this wine following the best traditions of the Hermitage in the Northern Rhone Valley of France. Black pepper, cassis, raspberry, mineral, violets, dark earth, graham cracker and Indian spices fill the glass. This complex wine pairs nicely with wild game and sauted mushrooms or a leg of lamb with a Marionberry glaze. 237 cases produced.
