The REX HILL Reserve Pinot Noir represents our best fruit and ensuing wines from prized vineyard sources situated around the Willamette Valley.  This beautiful wine is deeply colored with a layered nose of  black cherry, plum and huckleberries, followed by tobacco, rose and spices.  On the palate, the attack is large-scaled, serious and rich.  Dark black and blue fruit flavors combine on the palate with balanced, lush tannins tempered by fresh and lively acidity. This wine shows all the hallmarks of the superlative 2008 vintage and is structured with focus, balance and intensity to age and become more complex over the next 25 years.  A classic in the making.
