The REX HILL 2006 Rogue Valley Dessert Wine is made in a classic Late Bottled Vintage Port style. This fortified wine made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in Oregon’s Rogue Valley shows overt notes of rich plum, honey and vanilla with deep black fruit character, balanced tannins and well-integrated wood. Aged 5 years in small French oak barrels, yet unfined and unfiltered to allow aging in bottle, this dessert wine will be ready to enjoy immediately after purchase, but has the ability to gain complexity in bottle over the next 10-20 years.
